Desiccant

The Envirogel silica desiccant is the newest alternative when it comes to indicating gel, this silica gel shows an orange colour when active and slowly changes to green as the desiccant becomes saturated with water from the surrounding atmosphere.

Envirogel is made in a uniform bead form to help reduce gas flow channelling as well as minimising pressure drop. It is capable of adsorbing up to approx. 30% of its own weight in water.
