Modern diesel fuel exhibits high hygroscopic properties, and extended storage in tanks can result in the accumulation of both particulate matter and water contamination. This can render the fuel unsuitable for use and contribute to issues like the growth of bacterial organisms, commonly known as 'diesel bug infestations.' To safeguard the quality of stored diesel across various sites and fuel tanks, FA-ST offers a comprehensive range of filtration solutions designed to eliminate the buildup of particulate matter and ferrous impurities from systems.
Our diesel filtration systems are equipped with either progressive cavity pumps or gear pumps. These units can be employed as a light oil filtration system, providing filtration services for oils with viscosities up to 46 grade.
Our single-unit diesel filtration systems stand out as the most compact option in our product lineup. Ideally designed for modest-scale applications, these systems are perfect for filtering fuel in small tanks found on plant machinery, agricultural equipment, canal boats, or any location where diminutive diesel tanks, typically up to 1000 liters in capacity, are applicable.
The single-unit diesel filtration systems are compact and portable filtration devices meticulously designed to deliver efficient diesel fuel filtration in remote and challenging-to-reach locations. These systems find utility in various industries, including agriculture, canal boats, marine environments, service engineering, commercial operations, and automotive applications.
Our FA-ST diesel filtration systems offer a diverse array of configurations, making them well-suited for a multitude of purposes. Each diesel filtration unit comes equipped with a brand-new Kleenoil filter cartridge, as well as both suction and return hoses.
Moreover, all FA-ST single-unit diesel filtration systems come standard with a 1-year warranty, providing peace of mind for our customers. Trust FA-ST for reliable and versatile diesel filtration solutions.
Discover the unparalleled versatility of our dual-unit oil filtration systems, a standout choice in our comprehensive filtration range. Choose between the innovative MicroMag magnetic filters or efficient bag filters, and enjoy the flexibility to customise various features. Ideal for tanks with capacities of up to 10,000 litres, these systems ensure effective filtration tailored to your specific needs.
The twin unit diesel filtration system represents the robust dependable backbone of the FA-ST diesel filtration units. These units are built to last, highly portable, and engineered to effectively eliminate particulate, ferrous impurities, and water contamination from diesel fuel.
Our diesel filtration systems offer a wide array of configurations, making them an excellent fit for a multitude of applications. Each diesel filtration unit is equipped with 2 x 1888H filter cartridges as standard, along with 2 x 3-meter suction and return hoses.
Furthermore, all of our filtration systems come with a 1 year warranty as standard, helping to provide added assurance and value for our customers.
When the need for filtration or polishing arises in larger diesel storage tanks, the housing filtration systems offer an ideal solution, providing filtration individually for tanks with capacities of up to 20,000 litres.
Explore the superior performance of our four-unit diesel filtration systems, designed to excel in heavy-duty applications. Engineered for endurance, these units efficiently eliminate particulate, ferrous, and water contamination from diesel fuel. Ideal for large tanks requiring robust filtration, these systems deliver outstanding results.
Mounted on durable carry frames with integrated bunds for enhanced protection, our filtration units provide convenience and reliability. Standard configuration includes 4 x 1888H cartridges and 2 x 3-meter suction and return hoses, ensuring optimal performance for your diesel filtration needs.
Below we have highlighted just a few of the many sources of Diesel Contamination. These are the most common sources as well as being areas that are checked in our Diesel Analysis.
Tanks produce condensation with the constant change of temperature on the outside and inside of the tank which results in water building up within the tank. Tank breathers that are open to the atmosphere allow moisture to be drawn in during the tanks dispensing operations, Water affects the lubrication properties of diesel fuel and causes damage to pumps and injectors and provides the ideal conditions for bacteria, mould and fungus to grow.
Over time storage tanks and components rust, these particles will build up over time and become a cause of pumps and injector failure if not removed from the system.
The World Wide Fuel Charter cleanliness standard for diesel fuel delivered from the filling station nozzle should be to the ISO 4406 cleanliness standard of 18/16/13. During the transportation of diesel and storage of diesel that arrives on your site, the diesel has been transferred between various tanks, vehicle and IBC's and so on particulate contamination can quickly build. Particulate contamination in diesel creates wear particles which can cause damage to injectors and poor vehicle running.
