Twin Unit Marine Filtration System - Skid Frame

Our Twin units diesel filtration systems are fantastic filter unit allowing for a great deal flexibility when filtering fluids. The twin unit skid frame systems are capable of providing filtration on diesel and oils up to 46 grade. The heavy duty configuration is capable of filtering diesel and oils up to 220 grade viscosity.

These units are fitted with progressive cavity (light Duty) pumps ensuring a good flow rate of between 600-1000 litres per hour. Or Gear Pump (Heavy Duty) configurations will have a flow rate of between 800-1200 litres per hour. The twin units are the work horse of the FA-ST filtration units ideal to provide filtration on tanks up to 4000 litres in size.

This configuration is build on a strong durable skid frame with handles and integrated bund allowing for easy transportation and any spills or leaks to be contained. These units comes with the Kleenoil 9788/KU85 filter housing allowing for use with a large selection of filter cartridges giving great flexibility in fluids that can be filtered. These units come as 240v as standard however can be fitted with a 110v motor if required.

Additional Magnetic Filter

The design of these twin skid frame oil filter units allows for the MicroMag Magnetic Filters to be fitted to these systems. Magnetic filters are ideal for removing ferrous debris and rust build up from systems and will also increase the life span of the filter cartridges. Recommended for filtration of diesel in old storage tanks or those filtering fluids in cooling systems.

Filtration

Oil - This unit is suitable to filter oils up to 46 grade viscosity high grade will require our oil filtration units. For filtering oils the 1888H filter cartridges should be used. For polishing oils the 1888SPT filters should be used. These filters can remove up up 2Kg or dirt and 1 litre of water before requiring replacement.

Diesel - This unit is designed for filtering diesel fuel, fitted with the progressive cavity pump allowing for good flow rate and filtration for a cost effective price. For filtering diesel the 1888H filter cartridges should be used. For polishing diesel the 1888SPT filters should be used. These filters can remove up up 2Kg or dirt and 1 litre of water before requiring replacement. When filtering diesel the flow rate will be approx. 400 litres per hour.

Coolants & Glycols - These can be filtered in this unit however you MUST use the 2088PP or 2088PP6 filter cartridges as these DO NOT ABSORB WATER making them ideal for coolant filtration and polishing.
